Tabletop Interpreter ("Tabletop") turns your iPhone into a face-to-face interpreter. It is built to work without collecting anything about you or the people you talk to.
What Tabletop does not collect
Tabletop does not collect, store on a server, sell or share any personal data. It has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Your conversations stay on your iPhone
- Speech recognition runs on your iPhone using Apple's on-device speech recognition. Audio from the microphone is processed as it is heard and is not recorded or saved.
- Translation runs on your iPhone using Apple's on-device Translation framework and the language packs you download.
- The transcript of a conversation is kept in memory only while the conversation is open, so you can scroll back and continue it. It is not saved to storage, not backed up and not sent anywhere. It is discarded when you start a new conversation or the app closes.
Microphone
Tabletop asks for microphone access only to hear the conversation. It listens only while a conversation is running, and you can pause or end it at any time. You can turn microphone access off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone.
Language packs
Speech and translation language packs are downloaded and managed by iOS. Downloading them is handled by Apple; Tabletop does not send your conversations to do so. Apple's handling is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Siri and Shortcuts
If you use Siri or Shortcuts to start or end a conversation, iOS handles that request under Apple's privacy terms. Tabletop receives only the action (for example, "start a conversation in Japanese").
Children
Tabletop does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If a future version offers anything that sends data off your device (for example, optional cloud translation for difficult language pairs), it will be off by default, ask for your consent first, and this policy will be updated before it ships.

Tabletop Interpreter ("Tabletop") biến iPhone của bạn thành phiên dịch viên khi nói chuyện trực tiếp. Ứng dụng được làm ra để hoạt động mà không thu thập bất cứ thông tin nào về bạn hay người bạn đang nói chuyện.
Tabletop không thu thập gì
Tabletop không thu thập, không lưu trên máy chủ, không bán và không chia sẻ bất kỳ dữ liệu cá nhân nào. Không có tài khoản, không có phân tích, không quảng cáo và không theo dõi.
Cuộc trò chuyện ở lại trên iPhone của bạn
- Nhận dạng giọng nói chạy trên iPhone bằng công nghệ nhận dạng giọng nói trên thiết bị của Apple. Âm thanh từ micrô được xử lý ngay khi nghe và không được ghi âm hay lưu lại.
- Dịch chạy trên iPhone bằng Translation của Apple và các gói ngôn ngữ bạn tải về.
- Nội dung cuộc trò chuyện chỉ được giữ trong bộ nhớ khi cuộc trò chuyện đang mở, để bạn có thể kéo lên đọc lại và tiếp tục. Nội dung không được lưu, không được sao lưu và không được gửi đi đâu, và sẽ bị xóa khi bạn bắt đầu cuộc trò chuyện mới hoặc đóng ứng dụng.
Micrô
Tabletop chỉ xin quyền dùng micrô để nghe cuộc trò chuyện, và chỉ nghe khi cuộc trò chuyện đang diễn ra. Bạn có thể tạm dừng hoặc kết thúc bất cứ lúc nào, và tắt quyền micrô trong Cài đặt › Quyền riêng tư & Bảo mật › Micrô.
Gói ngôn ngữ
Các gói giọng nói và dịch do iOS tải về và quản lý. Tabletop không gửi cuộc trò chuyện của bạn đi để làm việc này.
Siri và Phím tắt
Khi bạn dùng Siri hoặc Phím tắt để bắt đầu hay kết thúc cuộc trò chuyện, iOS xử lý yêu cầu theo điều khoản quyền riêng tư của Apple. Tabletop chỉ nhận thao tác đó.
Thay đổi
Nếu phiên bản sau có tính năng gửi dữ liệu ra khỏi thiết bị (ví dụ dịch qua đám mây cho các cặp ngôn ngữ khó), tính năng đó sẽ tắt theo mặc định, hỏi ý bạn trước, và chính sách này sẽ được cập nhật trước khi phát hành.
